Live 8!

Did you guys hear about the Global Concert Live8 that was held in Philadelphia yesterday 7/2?! There was Jay-Z, Linkin Park, Dave matthews, Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child, Sarah MacLaughlin, Jars of Clay, Will Smith, Stevie Wonder, Kayne West (?) etc. There were estimated 600,000-800,000 people there! Guess, what, yours truly was a medical command doctor for the event. Thought maybe i'll get to be a doc to the stars. But it was fun and crazy at the same time. Got to take care of lots of dehydration, etc. It was all brodcast live on MTV, and the national news...Pretty cool...

Went to the U2:Veritgo tour in Philly! IT WAS AWESOME! highly recommended. Thanks to mel for treating me to such a special gift! Any else one been to this tour? All their shows are sold out, but you can find them online if you're willing to pay!

Haven't written in a LONG time! Many many new things happening in my life, where do I begin? Got engaged, getting married in October. Just came back from a medical missions trip to Valladolid Mexico, which is in the Yucatan. Melissa and I got to serve the Lord together, see His work through the team. We visited 6 villages during the week, and saw over 1000 patients. Despite the poverty, their contentment, joy and smiles are things we will never forget. The Mayan people are such beautiful people. We can't wait to go on another trip! Anyone out there want to join us on a future medical trip?! Here's some pictures.
